How to enable web socket for application listener?​

Problem Statement​

The client wants to enable the web socket in WAF for their application listener.

Solution​

Below are the steps to configure the WAF for web socket application.

Steps to Solve:-

  1. Login into Haltdos console.

  2. Go to WAF > Zones > Listeners > Profile > Settings.

  3. Change the application type to web socket.

  1. Now go to Listeners > Server Groups > Load Balancing.

  2. Enable the websocket for the application server.

In this way user can enable the web socket for their application listener.
