Action Scripts


Overview

An action script is used to perform the specific task or action on the given or set time. These scripts can be used to perform multiple tasks at Haltdos console.

How to Use:

  1. Go to Stack > Resources > Actions
  2. Select the Add Actions.
  3. Configure your settings.
  4. Click on Save changes.

Description

Enabled

This option allows users to enable the action script.

    Accepted values: Enable / Disable

Default: Enable
Action Name

This option allows users to set a user-friendly name for the script.

    Accepted values: String

Default: Blank
Scope

This option allows users to set the scope of the given script.

    Accepted values: Scope

Default: Blank
Run Frequency

This option allows users to set the run frequency for the script. We can select form minute, hour, day, week & month.

    Accepted values: Integer

Default: Blank
Next Run

This options allows users to set the next run time for the script.

    Accepted values: Integer

Default: Blank
Timezone

This option allows users to set the timezone for the action script.

    Accepted values: Select Time Zone

Default: Blank
Script Area

This option allows users to write the actual perl/bash script.

    Accepted values: String

Default: Blank
